Filmplace partnered the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) and Seoul Broadcasting System (SBS) to bring “Running Man” to Singapore in November 2023

SINGAPORE – 16 November 2023 – Filmplace, a renowned content creators’ platform, is thrilled to partner Seoul Broadcasting System (SBS), supported by Singapore Tourism Board (STB) as its destination partner, to exclusively bring the beloved South Korean variety show, “Running Man,” to Singapore later this month. This momentous event is a collaboration of epic proportions with SBS, as Filmplace joins hands with esteemed organisations and brands, including STB, Mandai Wildlife Group, Grab, Bee Cheng Hiang and Accor to showcase Singapore’s diverse offerings. Singaporeans are in for a treat as they get ready to embark on an exhilarating journey filled with laughter, challenges, and camaraderie with the cast of “Running Man”.

“Running Man”, a groundbreaking South Korean variety show that first graced television screens in 2010, has captured the hearts of millions worldwide. The show’s unique concept centres around a game-based reality format, where a star-studded cast engages in a series of hilarious and thrilling challenges and missions with the objective of winning races and coveted prizes. Over the years, “Running Man” has evolved into a cultural phenomenon in South Korea, boasting a dedicated fan base not only in its home country but also across the globe.

Filmplace is delighted to announce that the Singapore audience will soon get to experience the joy, excitement, and hilarity that “Running Man” brings. The highly anticipated episodes will make their debut on the 19th and 26th of November 2023, setting the stage for unforgettable entertainment. Viewers in Singapore can tune in to SBS’s official TV channels to catch the action live as the entire cast, including Jaesuk-Yoo, Seokjin-Ji, Jongkook-Kim, Ha-ha, Jihyo-Song, Sechan-Yang and two special guests, embark on adventures in Singapore.

The episodes will feature the “Running Man” cast visiting Singapore’s iconic locations and attractions. In addition, the cast members will get a taste of Singapore’s local delicacies too. They will travel like a local and will also enjoy the Singapore skyline from their hotel. The episodes will showcase the vibrancy of Singapore through the different local brands that represent Singapore.
